There's a moment at every great dinner party when the dessert arrives and the conversation stops. The only sounds are forks scraping plates and coos of satisfaction. That's what Paquette was made for.
Every other mix gives you a single layer and calls it a cake. Paquette makes a stunning double-layer centrepiece — with enough icing to cover the whole thing, not just a thin smear on top.
Dutch-processed cocoa, real raspberries, cane sugar, sea salt. Every ingredient earns its place and nothing in the list needs a chemistry degree to pronounce.
Our Scratch-Quality Crumb Formula™ means every bake delivers the same moist, tender, deeply chocolatey result. No dense disasters. No dry disappointments. Just consistent, guest-worthy results.
You'll also need from home: eggs, oil, sour cream, water, butter and two 20cm round cake tins.
Paquette was built around one obsessive goal: a cake worth talking about.

Not just dinner parties. Wherever there's a table worth setting.
I brought this to a friend's dinner party and three people asked me for the recipe. I just smiled and said it was homemade. It's not a lie ;)
The packaging alone made me want to buy it. The cake made me want to order six more. It's going straight to the top of my gifting list this Christmas.
I am a terrible baker. I made this for my sister's birthday and everyone thought I'd ordered it from a bakery. I will be ordering many more of these.
Contains wheat (gluten). May contain milk, sesame, soy.

I actually didn't start Paquette as a cake mix brand.
I'm not a pastry chef. I'm not a dedicated home baker. I just wanted to start a business that helped people connect more.
I missed having people over for dinner like I used to in my 20's. The deep conversations, laughing so hard you cry, the dancing in the loungeroom...
So I thought about what would make it just a little bit easier to have people over more? And that's how I came up with Paquette - fancy cake mixes for the modern hostess who loves good food, great company, and wants a shortcut that still feels special.
